Hiatus

Well, last Thursday was my last day at the job I've had for 6 years, in the department I've worked in for 8 years, in the hospital I've worked in for 9 years. Alas, I have 2 weeks off in between ending one chapter and starting another. Today is day #1. Here is my list of accomplishments today:

  • Dropped A off at daycare

  • Rearranged tupperware drawer

  • Cleaned half bath

  • Washed load of blankets for guest room

  • Went shopping

  • Went to the craft store

  • Cleaned full bath

  • Put laundry away

  • Cleaned off stairway

  • Picked A up at daycare

    I don't know if my first comment went through, but what I said was that my mom retired and when she did, she found tons of things to do.

    Giving away clothes. Cleaning out old filing cabinets. Going through her shoe and jewelry collection.

    I'm sorry to hear about your job loss, but maybe you might find what you love to do, in the midst of it, and it might make things easier.
