Hamani Shawl

So this is my next project....the Hamani shawl from Pink Lemon Twist's site. I am using Kid Merino wool in copper and I'm not planning on using beads. As soon as I get batteries for my camera, I'll upload pics of the yarn and my progress.

All I can say is, it is going to be a challenge. I have not yet worked with such delicate yarn nor done lace knitting before. It's part mohair so it's fuzzy to the point that's almost hard to see through the fuzz to see exactly where your stitch is. I think I've already made a few errors and am trying to see if there's a way that I can recover a stitch somewhere without screwing up the pattern too much. I have tried unraveling this stuff once before and it gets tangled very very easily so I'm hesitant to try that again. I'll post my progress in pics as soon as my camera is loaded with juice.

In other news...M just surprised me at my office with flowers! What a lucky girl I am :)
